Responsibilities

• Translate documents, websites, legal texts, technical manuals, and multimedia content from source language to target language with accuracy and cultural sensitivity
• Proofread and edit translations to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to client specifications
• Maintain professional ethics by respecting confidentiality and intellectual property rights
• Utilize translation tools such as SDL Trados Studio to enhance productivity and consistency across projects
• Conduct interpretation sessions for meetings, conferences, or remote communications as needed
• Transcribe audio or video recordings into written format with precision
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify terminology and project requirements

Requirements

• Multilingual proficiency in English plus at least one foreign language with demonstrated fluency and cultural understanding
• Proven experience in translation, editing, proofreading, or related linguistic roles
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and legal translation services is preferred
• Familiarity with SDL Trados Studio or similar CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas clearly in both languages
• Demonstrated understanding of linguistics principles and bilingual writing skills
• Experience with technical translation services, interpretation, transcription, or specialized fields such as legal or medical translation is advantageous
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and adherence to deadlines
