Freelance Video Editor

Position Overview

We are hiring a Video Editor & Social Media Content Publisher responsible for editing high‑quality video content and posting consistently across YouTube and other social platforms. This role transforms raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for audience retention, SEO, and platform‑specific formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing — Edit long‑form and short‑form videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Content Repurposing — Convert long videos into clips, shorts, reels, and highlight segments.
• YouTube Publishing — Upload videos, write titles, descriptions, tags, and optimize thumbnails.
• Thumbnail Creation — Design eye‑catching thumbnails that increase CTR.
• Platform Scheduling — Schedule content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Brand Consistency — Maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and tone across all content.
• Quality Control — Ensure audio, visuals, captions, and transitions meet quality standards.
• Content Organization — Manage footage, project files, and content libraries for efficient workflow.
• Analytics Review — Monitor performance metrics to improve future content.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in video editing
• Proficiency with editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong understanding of YouTube content formats, pacing, and retention strategies
• Ability to create thumbnails and basic graphic assets
• Experience posting and scheduling content across social platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
• Reliable WFH setup with fast internet
• Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing YouTube‑style videos (educational, vlog, talking‑head, commentary, tutorials)
• Familiarity with SEO for YouTube
• Experience with AI editing tools (Descript, CapCut AI, Runway)
• Basic motion graphics skills (titles, lower thirds, transitions)

Contract Type

Fulltime/ part-time/ freelance contractor (remote)

Pay: Php15,173.39 - Php54,111.47 per month
