Freelance Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-performing video ads for Facebook and Instagram tailored to DTC e-commerce audiences
• Source and curate B-roll footage and other creative assets as needed for each project
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, develop, and iterate on new ad concepts
• Implement direct-response advertising strategies to maximize engagement and conversion rates
• Stay updated on industry trends, platform best practices, and competitor content to inform creative direction
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience editing video ads for DTC brands, with a strong portfolio showcasing Facebook and Instagram campaigns
• Deep understanding of direct-response advertising principles and performance metrics
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to independently source and integrate B-roll and stock footage
• Strong creative vision and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to evolving brand guidelines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with distributed teams
• Availability for ongoing, long-term collaboration
