Freelance Video Editor

As a Short-Form Video Editor, you will create high-quality, engaging videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts** using provided scripts, footage, and creative briefs.

Your main focus will be on clean execution, strong storytelling, visual consistency, and viewer retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Short-Form Video Editing

• Edit engaging videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts

• Follow provided scripts, creative briefs, and instructions

• Maintain strong pacing, structure, and flow

• Deliver completed videos on or before deadlines

2. Storytelling & Viewer Retention

• Create a clear and engaging narrative within a short video format

• Identify and highlight key moments that capture attention

• Use pacing, cuts, captions, and visuals effectively to maintain viewer interest

• Minimize revisions by understanding the objective of each video

3. B-Roll & Asset Management

• Select relevant B-roll and supporting footage

• Organize project files, footage, and exports properly

• Ensure all assets are correctly labeled and easy to locate

• Keep project folders clean and organized

4. Style & Brand Consistency

• Follow established editing styles and brand guidelines

• Use previously approved content as a reference

• Maintain consistency in pacing, captions, transitions, visuals, and overall tone

• Apply feedback accurately and consistently

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts

• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention

• Good eye for B-roll, timing, transitions, and visual composition

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to follow instructions and creative briefs accurately

• Organized and reliable

• Can meet deadlines consistently

• Comfortable working independently in a 100% remote/WFH environment

• Willing to receive feedback and continuously improve

PLUS POINTS

• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

• Experience editing content for creators, brands, or social media pages

• Understanding of social media trends and short-form content formats

• Experience with captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and basic color correction

You will work remotely and collaborate with the team online. A reliable internet connection and a suitable computer/laptop for video editing are required.

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
