Freelance Videographer

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Production: Collaborate on brief alignment, shot lists, storyboard concepts, and site scouting across Dubai locations.
• On-Site Filming: Operate high-end digital cinema or mirrorless camera setups (e.g., Sony A7IV/FX3, Canon R5, Blackmagic, or equivalent) to capture sharp, cinematic footage.
• Audio & Lighting Management: Set up off-camera lighting, wireless lavalier or shotgun microphones, and ambient audio capture for clean sound quality.
• Gimbal & Drone Operation: Execute smooth camera movements using 3-axis gimbals (e.g., DJI RS Series) and perform aerial shoots if licensed (DJI Drone).
• Directing & Coordination: Direct non-professional subjects, models, or talent on set to capture natural and engaging footage.
• Post-Production Delivery (Optional / Project Dependent): Offload, organize, and transfer raw footage via high-speed cloud or drive. (If editing is required: perform rough cuts, color grading, and audio mixing in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Portfolio / Showreel: Proven experience with a strong showreel demonstrating high visual standards, framing, and movement.
• Legal Status: Must hold a valid UAE Freelance Visa / Work Permit or possess an official freelance license (e.g., GoFreelance / Dubai Media City permit) with a valid Emirates ID.
• Equipment: Must own or have immediate access to professional 4K camera gear, gimbals, wireless audio gear, and portable lighting setups.
• Local Regulations: Familiarity with Dubai media regulations, location permitting (Dubai Film and TV Commission - DFTC), and drone flight restrictions in restricted zones.
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong bonus).
• Mobility: Valid UAE Driver’s License and access to personal transport to travel across Dubai/UAE shoot locations.

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED6,700.00 per month
