Freelance Web Developer – Restaurant Site Maintenance

A freelance web developer is needed to provide ongoing fixes and maintenance for a Japanese restaurant website based in Yerevan. The platform is custom-built, not using WordPress or Shopify, so strong experience with bespoke web systems is essential. The initial focus will be on resolving existing bugs, such as broken menu and category links, and ensuring the site’s e-commerce and online ordering flows function smoothly. The ideal candidate is responsive, dependable, and able to address requests promptly, with the opportunity for a long-term remote engagement following a successful paid trial task.

• Diagnose and fix broken menu and category links
• Maintain and update custom-built website features as needed
• Implement small maintenance requests and occasional new features
• Ensure e-commerce flows, including menu pages and checkout, operate correctly
• Integrate and troubleshoot tracking pixels and analytics tools
• Provide timely responses and solutions to ongoing support requests

Requirements

• Proven experience with custom web development (not reliant on CMS platforms)
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and online ordering systems
• Proficiency in relevant web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, backend frameworks)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve bugs efficiently
• Experience with tracking pixels and analytics integration
• Reliable communication and responsiveness
• Availability for a paid trial task and potential ongoing remote work
