Freelance Wedding Floral Assistant

Pay: Starting at $21 per hour (vary by experience)+ $100 late-night breakdown bonus

Hours: 4-6 hours per event (primarily Saturdays, depending on event size)

About The Role Are you passionate about flowers and looking to break into the floral design industry? We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking Freelance Floral Assistant to help bring beauty and artistry to our wedding events.

This flexible role is a fantastic opportunity to build your portfolio, gain hands-on event experience, and grow within the wedding floral space.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport: Pick up floral arrangements and installations securely from our studio and drive them safely to the wedding venue.
• Setup: Assist with professional on-site setup, placement, and styling of arrangements to ensure the venue looks stunning.
• Breakdown (Late Night): Return to the venue at the end of the night to pack up, load, and return all equipment and supplies back to the studio. (Includes an extra $100 flat bonus for late-night teardown).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a dependable vehicle capable of transporting floral arrangements.
• Availability: Must have flexible hours and be available to work Saturdays.
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift heavy boxes, buckets, and rental items, and stand/walk for long periods during setup and teardown.
• Work Ethic: A dedicated, responsible, and positive team player who is eager to learn the ropes of wedding floristry.
