Freelancer Event sponsor/sales

• Experience: 1-8 years in Event Sponsorship, Media Sales, Brand Partnerships, or B2B Sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential sponsors for corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, awards, and other events.
• Develop and maintain a strong database of potential brands and corporate sponsors.
• Pitch sponsorship opportunities and explain event audience, visibility, branding, and business benefits.
• Create and present sponsorship proposals and customized packages based on sponsor requirements.
• Negotiate sponsorship commercials, branding rights, deliverables, and commercial terms.
• Generate new sponsorship leads through networking, LinkedIn, referrals, industry contacts, and direct outreach.
• Build relationships with marketing heads, brand managers, CXOs, agencies, and corporate decision-makers.
• Follow up consistently and convert leads into confirmed sponsorships.
• Coordinate with the event/project team to ensure promised sponsor deliverables are executed.
• Maintain records of leads, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
• Achieve agreed sponsorship revenue targets within the event timeline.
• Freelancer-specific expectation The freelancer should ideally have existing corporate/brand contacts and the ability to independently generate sponsorship opportunities.
• Commercial Model: commission or success-based commission on sponsorship revenue generated.
