Were looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor who understands modern Instagram content especially fast-paced, engaging, high-retention reels. Your main responsibility will be editing short-form videos that feel native to Instagram trends while maintaining a clean and premium brand identity. If you naturally notice trending edits, hooks, transitions, captions, pacing, memes, sound usage, and viral reel formats before others do this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit high-quality Instagram reels, ads, and short-form content
2. Create scroll-stopping edits with strong hooks and retention-focused pacing
3. Stay updated with current Instagram and short-form video trends
4. Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and trending audio creatively
5. Work closely with the social media and marketing team on content strategy
6. Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with the brand 7. Deliver edits within deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements:
1+ year experience in reel editing / short-form content editing
Strong understanding of Instagram trends and viral content formats

Proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut / VN / similar fast-editing tools
Good sense of timing, storytelling, hooks, and audience retention
Experience with motion graphics and animated captions is a plus
Ability to think creatively and suggest content ideas, not just edit
Understanding of social media algorithms and content performance

Have edited content for SaaS, tech, AI, startups, or agencies
Understand modern "human-first" editing styles used by fast-growing brands
Can create thumbnail concepts and basic design assets
Follow creators and brands known for high-performing reels
