Freelancer Web Developer

We are looking for a technically capable and hands-on Website Developer & ERP Professional who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company website, supporting ERP operations, coordinating system-related requirements, and ensuring smooth functioning of digital and business applications.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of website development/maintenance as well as practical experience in ERP systems, user support, data management and system coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Development & Management

• Develop, maintain and update the company's website.
• Ensure the website is responsive, user-friendly, secure and optimized for performance.
• Update website content, product information, company information, images and other digital content.
• Coordinate with internal teams for collecting and publishing updated product/company information.
• Identify and resolve website errors, bugs and technical issues.
• Manage website hosting, domain, SSL and basic website security requirements.
• Implement basic SEO practices to improve website visibility.
• Monitor website performance, uptime and functionality.
• Coordinate with external web development agencies/vendors wherever required.
• Support integration of enquiry forms, contact forms and other website functionalities.

ERP Management & Support

• Manage day-to-day ERP activities and provide functional support to users.
• Create and maintain users, roles, permissions and access controls as required.
• Understand and support ERP modules related to Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounts, Production and CRM, depending on the company's ERP system.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of business transactions in the ERP.
• Assist departments in resolving ERP-related issues and queries.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in ERP workflows.
• Coordinate with ERP vendors/implementation partners for technical issues, upgrades and customizations.
• Support ERP implementation, configuration, testing and new module rollouts.
• Maintain master data and ensure data accuracy.
• Generate and maintain required ERP reports and MIS.
• Assist in data backup, system documentation and basic troubleshooting.
• Train employees on ERP processes and system usage wherever required.

IT & System Coordination

• Act as a point of coordination between users, management and external IT/ERP vendors.
• Maintain proper documentation of website, ERP processes, user access and system-related activities.
• Support integration between ERP, website and other business applications wherever required.
• Ensure timely resolution of system-related issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company data and system credentials.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of website development and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and preferably PHP/WordPress or the relevant technology used by the company.
• Experience in managing website hosting, domains, SSL and basic SEO.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Good understanding of business processes such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Accounts.
• Strong Excel / MS Office skills.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL will be an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with users and external vendors.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Applications, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in website development, ERP support or a combination of both.
• Experience in a manufacturing, trading or distribution company will be an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP implementation/customization projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,223.85 - ₹46,213.40 per month
