Capacity Express Inc. is expanding nationwide and looking for experienced Freight Agents who are ready to take ownership of their book of business while leveraging the support of a growing transportation and logistics platform.

This is not a traditional broker position. We provide the technology, back-office support, carrier network, and tools you need so you can focus on what you do best: developing customer relationships, moving freight, and maximizing your income.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and manage your own customer portfolio.
• Generate new business opportunities and maintain shipper relationships.
• Secure freight and negotiate rates with customers and carriers.
• Source and manage qualified carrier capacity.
• Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Manage margins and maximize profitability.
• Ensure excellent customer service and operational execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and business partners.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or transportation services.
• Strong understanding of truckload operations and freight movement.
• Experience sourcing and managing carrier relationships.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to operate independently while managing multiple customers and shipments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing book of business.
• Active customer relationships and shipper contacts.
• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS).
• Established carrier network.
