We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the vital link between shippers and carriers, coordinating freight movements across various transportation modes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Your expertise in supply chain management, transportation planning, and customer relationship management will drive operational excellence and foster strong client partnerships. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors to facilitate seamless freight transactions.
• Coordinate transportation logistics across multiple modes including air freight, ocean freight (NVOCC), trucking, and freight forwarding logistics.
• Manage transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software to track shipments, update statuses, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers and clients to maximize profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee shipping logistics, including compliance with international trade regulations such as FDA regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams on supply chain planning, transportation management, and logistics sales strategies to meet client needs effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating proactively with clients regarding shipment status, delays, or issues; resolve problems swiftly to uphold service excellence.

Skills

• Strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics company operations.
• Proven experience in freight brokerage, freight forwarding logistics, 3PL (third-party logistics), and carrier sales.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a solid background in sales management and B2B sales strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software for efficient data entry and client communication.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics including air freight, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and FDA regulations where applicable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client relationship management and client communication.
