• Coordinate and dispatch freight shipments by matching loads with qualified carriers using transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
• Negotiate with carriers and clients to secure optimal pricing while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage customer relationships through inside sales efforts, providing exceptional service and support to build long-term partnerships.
• Oversee transportation planning by scheduling pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely execution while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate data entry for shipment details, carrier information, and dispatch records.
• Conduct ongoing negotiations for freight pricing, capacity availability, and service levels to maximize profitability.
• Monitor transportation management systems for real-time updates, dispatching carriers efficiently while managing any issues that arise during transit.
• Support carrier sales efforts by sourcing new carriers through lead generation activities and fostering strong B2B relationships.

• Deep understanding of supply chain management principles and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Proven experience in logistics sales, freight brokerage, or dispatching within a 3PL or similar environment.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to manage contracts and customer relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with transportation planning, carrier sales, inside sales strategies, and account management techniques.
• Ability to generate leads through proactive outreach and develop sustainable carrier partnerships.
• Skilled in logistics sales tactics including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and transportation sales growth initiatives. Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
