Freight Dispatch Coordinator

Overview
Cazares Freight Carriers LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Freight Dispatch Coordinator to support daily transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will coordinate freight shipments, communicate with drivers and brokers, and ensure efficient and timely delivery of loads. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys logistics coordination, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced trucking environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch freight shipments using transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards
• Communicate with drivers, brokers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment schedules and delivery updates
• Monitor freight movements and proactively resolve delays or operational issues
• Maintain accurate records of loads, invoices, rate confirmations, and shipping documentation
• Assist with route planning, scheduling, and operational coordination
• Support billing processes and operational reporting
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and daily operational support

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or freight coordination preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, email communication, and logistics software
• Reliable and team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, TMS platforms, and ELD systems
• Experience working with trucking companies or freight brokers
• Knowledge of freight operations, routing, and dispatch procedures
• Familiarity with DOT compliance and transportation regulations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Russian) is a plus
