Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator / Executive

• Position            : Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator / Executive
• Location            : Marine Parade / Parkway Parade
• Working hours       : Monday to Friday/ office hours
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,400 Basic + 13th Month AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration            : Permanent
• Industry            : Freight Forwarding / Logistics

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and organise import and/or export shipments to ensure smooth and timely shipment arrangements
• Handle day-to-day freight forwarding and shipping coordination
• Prepare, process and apply for the relevant shipping and logistics documentation
• Perform administrative duties including data entry, filing, scanning and document management
• Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to follow up on shipment documentation and operational matters
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is properly completed and filed
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the team
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum N-Level or equivalent qualification
• Candidates with freight forwarding, shipping or logistics experience will have an advantage
• Candidates without prior experience but with an interest in freight forwarding and logistics are welcome to apply, as training can be provided
• Comfortable handling administrative duties and shipping documentation
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up on operational matters independently
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a team
