Freight Forwarding Specialist

Qualifications & experience:

• Graduate of any 4year course. With good oral and written communication skills. Relative experience in Freight Forwarding is a good plus.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Negotiate rates
• Track shipments. Create necessary documents
• Handle and manage accounts
• Effectively communicate with Agents, local service providers, Customers and co-workers
• Identify Customer needs
• Schedule outbound and inbound shipments.
• Provide input and complete freight bills.
• Assist with the communications with carriers.
• Make recommendations with regard to transportation, routing, carrier selection and assist to meet customer requirements.
