Freight Forwarding Supervisor

About the role

Freight Forwarding PIC role involving shipment coordination, documentation, and logistics operations. You will handle customer shipment orders, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, monitor shipment schedules and cargo status, and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer shipment orders and follow up on booking arrangements
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, agents, trucking companies, and internal operations teams
• Monitor shipment schedules, cargo loading, documentation, and delivery status
• Prepare and check shipping and freight forwarding documents
• Follow up on shipment issues and provide timely updates to customers
• Coordinate trucking, warehousing, customs clearance, and other logistics requirements when necessary
• Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare operational reports
• Support the marketing team in customer follow-up and quotation processes

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or related operations
• Familiar with shipment coordination and documentation
• Able to coordinate with customers, shipping lines, agents, trucking companies, and internal operations teams
• Familiar with shipment schedules, loading, documentation, delivery, and shipment progress follow-up
• Able to prepare and check shipping and freight forwarding documents and maintain shipment records
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of handling multiple shipments and operational matters simultaneously
• Good English communication ability; able to handle business emails and shipping documents
