Freight Handler - Morning Shift

The Role

It is imperative you are a motivated, reliable, punctual, and fit individual, who thrives working within teams. With a sense of humour, strong work ethic and ability to prosper in fast-paced environments. This role will involve general warehousing and freight sorting duties, where you will prepare the depot for daily operations, maintain the tidiness of the branch and ensure the loading and unloading of cargo is completed safely and efficiently. You will be a physically fit individual with capability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Hours available are 14 Hours per week;

Tuesday to Friday, 6.30am to 8.30am

Thursday to Friday, 14.30 to 16.30

Saturday, 07.00 to 09.00

This role is based at our Queenstown Depot

Please note: Due to current road closures and strain on our transit network, we require flexibility.

Requirements

· Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential

· Comfortable lifting within your capability (some lifting up to 25kgs)

· Forklift License desirable but not essential

· Strong focus on Health and Safety

· Sound knowledge of local NZ geography
