Freight Import Assistant Manager

Responsibilities :

• Manage daily import freight forwarding operations for sea and air shipments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, overseas agents, and customers.
• Monitor shipment status, customs clearance, and cargo delivery schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of import shipping documents.
• Handle operational issues, shipment delays, and customer complaints.
• Monitor operational costs
• Supervise team members and ensure operational efficiency and excellence service quality.

Requirements :

• Minimum 7 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Experience in import operations and customs clearance procedures.
• Good knowledge of shipping documentation and international trade procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage operational costs and improve work efficiency.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
