Freight Operations Specialist (Freight Forwarding)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Operator to manage and coordinate international and domestic shipments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding operations, and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end import and export shipment operations.
• Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, agents, and customers.
• Process booking requests and shipment documentation.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
• Prepare and review shipping documents including Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, and customs-related documents.
• Ensure smooth movement of cargo from origin to destination.
• Resolve shipment delays, operational issues, and customer concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding
• Experience handling air freight, ocean freight, or import/export shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and freight processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
