Freight Pricing Associate

Job Title: Freight Pricing Associate(Night Shift) Location: FB area, Karachi (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM 3:00 AM, Monday to Friday) and every last Saturday of each month Experience: 1-2 years (Freight industry experience required) Budget: under 150k (depends on your skills and qualification) NO other benefits Key Focus :Rate negotiation, carrier relationship management, margin analysis, and competitive market pricing to drive business growth and profitability. Job Summary Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Pricing to join their growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry and a strong understanding of rate management, cost analysis, and client quotation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain competitive freight pricing based on carrier rates and market trends.
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely quotations.
• Analyse shipment costs and identify pricing efficiencies.
• Maintain pricing databases and support client proposals.
• Communicate effectively with overseas partners and ensure high-quality service standards.
• Contribute to business development by identifying new sales opportunities and upselling/cross-selling services to existing clients.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with freight pricing tools or systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment
