職務内容: Position Summary

The Ocean Import Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and executing daily ocean import operations while ensuring timely, accurate and compliant shipment processing.

The role collaborates closely with customers, carriers, overseas offices and internal stakeholders to maintain service quality, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The position also supports business continuity, operational excellence and sustainable business growth through proactive shipment management and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily Ocean Import shipments
• Monitor shipment milestones and provide proactive communication to customers
• Prepare, review and maintain shipping, customs and operational documentation
• Coordinate with carriers, overseas offices, customers and internal stakeholders
• Support billing, invoicing, shipment visibility and operational reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with UPS operational procedures, customer requirements and regulatory guidelines
• Resolve operational issues and support service recovery activities
• Monitor shipment performance and maintain data accuracy in operational systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and productivity enhancement opportunities
• Provide timely customer support and maintain strong customer relationships

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation or supply chain operations preferred
• Knowledge of Ocean Import operational processes and documentation
• Understanding of international transportation and customs-related procedures
• Strong communication, coordination and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
• Intermediate English communication skills (spoken and written) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions

• 해상 수입 화물의 일일 운영 업무 수행 및 관리
• 화물 진행 상황을 모니터링하고 고객에게 적시에 안내
• 운송, 통관 및 운영 관련 서류 작성 및 검토
• 선사, 해외 지사, 고객 및 내부 부서와의 업무 조율
• Billing, Invoice 발행, Shipment Visibility 관리 및 운영 실적 보고 지원
• UPS 운영 절차 및 고객 요구사항, 관련 규정 준수
• 운영상 이슈 해결 및 서비스 복구 활동 수행
• 시스템 내 화물 데이터 정확성 및 운영 실적 관리
• 지속적인 운영 개선 및 생산성 향상 활동 지원
• 고객 문의 대응 및 고객 관계 유지

[필수 자격 요건]

• 학사 학위 소지자
• 포워딩, 물류, 운송 또는 공급망 운영 경력 2년 이상
• Ocean Import 운영 프로세스 및 관련 서류에 대한 이해
• 빠르게 변화하는 운영 환경에서 멀티태스킹 수행 가능자
• 우수한 커뮤니케이션 및 고객 서비스 역량
• Microsoft Office(Excel, Outlook 등) 활용 능력
• 분석적 사고와 문제 해결 능력 보유자
• 팀워크와 협업 역량 보유자

[우대 자격 요건]

• 국제 운송 및 통관 관련 업무 지식 보유자 우대
• 중급 이상의 영어 커뮤니케이션 능력(회화 및 이메일) 우대

[근무시간]

• 주 40시간(월금 09:0018:00)
• 기본적으로 평일 근무를 원칙으로 하나, 비즈니스 연속성 및 고객 서비스 지원을 위해 장기 연휴 기간 중 제한적으로 운영 지원 근무가 필요할 수 있습니다.
