French Language Teacher

Role Description The French Language Teacher will deliver engaging online lessons to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, following CEFR standards and Lingua Learn curricula. Responsibilities include planning and organizing lesson materials, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The teacher will adapt instructional methods to suit corporate clients, adult learners, and young students, ensuring classes are interactive and goal-oriented. Collaboration with the academic team to refine teaching materials and participate in occasional training sessions is expected. This is a part-time, remote role that requires reliable connectivity and a professional online teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with demonstrated experience instructing French to diverse learner groups.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured, learner-centered lessons aligned with CEFR levels.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of French Literature and cultural topics to enrich lessons and support advanced learners.
• Native or near-native proficiency in French, with excellent command of spoken and written language.
• Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Languages, Education, or a related field (e.g., FLE, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Experience with online teaching platforms, digital classroom tools, and remote instruction best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Availability to teach across flexible time slots, including potential evening or weekend classes, depending on learner needs.
