Client: Leading BPO client

Languages: Native-level French + B2 English or higher

Technical skills: Basic knowledge of SQL

On-site requirement: One visit to the Porto office per quarter

About The Role Are you a French speaker with an interest in technology and some basic knowledge of SQL? Join a leading BPO client as a Junior Technical Support Specialist , where you'll help customers troubleshoot technical issues, investigate problems, and find effective solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical support skills and gain experience in an international environment. We're looking for a motivated candidate with a technical mindset, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

The position is remote, with the requirement to attend the client's office in Porto, Portugal, once per quarter .

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to French-speaking customers.
• Investigate and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Use basic SQL knowledge to assist with data queries and problem investigation.
• Identify, document, and resolve technical issues whenever possible.
• Escalate more complex problems to the relevant technical teams.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of customer interactions and technical cases.
• Communicate technical information in a clear and accessible way.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of customer support.

Requirements

• Native-level French is mandatory.
• B2 level of English or higher is required.
• Basic knowledge or some practical experience with SQL.
• An interest in technology, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to attend the Porto office once per quarter.

Previous experience in a technical support role is an advantage, but candidates with basic SQL knowledge and a strong willingness to develop their technical skills are encouraged to apply.
