French Speaking Technical Support Representative – Portugal

Opportunity

We are looking for motivated French-speaking candidates with strong MySQL knowledge to join an international technical support project in Portugal. This opportunity is suitable for recent graduates and entry-level applicants who have solid technical skills and want to develop their careers in a multicultural environment.

You will provide technical assistance to French-speaking customers, troubleshoot product-related issues using MySQL and collaborate with English-speaking developers to deliver effective solutions. No previous professional experience is required, but strong MySQL knowledge is essential.

The position offers a work-from-home arrangement following initial office-based training in Porto, with accommodation support during training.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in French to customers and English to developers via chat and voice channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues using MySQL.
• Investigate customer enquiries and identify effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team members and escalate complex issues to the development team when necessary.
• Act as a bridge between customers and developers, communicating technical information clearly.
• Ensure timely and professional responses to customer enquiries.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Your Qualifications

• Native or fluent French, both written and spoken.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong MySQL knowledge – mandatory.
• Familiarity with Postman is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• No previous professional experience required, but solid MySQL knowledge is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in technology and providing excellent customer support.
• Ability to attend initial office-based training in Porto.
• Availability for occasional on-site attendance.
