French Tutor – Evening (Warrington, WA2)

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and qualified Self-Employed French Tutor to deliver an interactive, face-to-face evening class for a small group of 6 adult beginners. The ideal candidate will be self-employed who loves teaching conversational French and can commit to a regular weekly slot.

• Start Date: late October 2026
• Day & Time: Every Thursday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (2-hour session) for 10 weeks.
• Location: On-premises at our facility in Warrington (WA2 7JQ).
• Commute Benefits: Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the main bus station with free onsite parking available.
• Class Size: 6 students (Beginners / Conversational Focus).
• Pay: £40.00 per evening (£20.00 per hour, paid via invoice as a self-employed contractor).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a structured, engaging 2-hour weekly lesson focused on basic conversational French, travel phrases, and foundation grammar.
• Provide basic learning resources or handouts for a group environment.
• Maintain a fun, welcoming, motivating and encouraging atmosphere for adult learners.
• Provide feedback and adapt sessions to suit student needs and abilities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records.

Requirements:

• Fluent or native French speaker.
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring French (experience with small groups is a distinct advantage).
• Must be able to be self-employed in the UK and able to provide invoices for services rendered.
• Reliable availability on Thursday evenings (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM).

Pay: £20.00 per hour
