We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Fresh Food Assistant to support our kitchen operations and help deliver fresh, delicious meals to our customers.
About the role
Number of vacancies: 3
Employment type: This is a permanent, full-time position.
Days required:On arotating roster, including weekends.
Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking and serving by collecting, cleaning, and organizing food items.
- Gather cookware and utensils needed for meal preparation.
- Accurately weigh and measure ingredients to recipe requirements.
- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Assist with removing cooked dishes from ovens and warmers.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Notify senior kitchen staff when food or supply levels are running low.
Previous kitchen experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential as training will be provided
