Fresh Graduate Graphic Designer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Fresh Graduate Graphic Designer to join our dynamic creative team at Onre Design in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to launch their design careers whilst working alongside experienced professionals. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of visually engaging designs for a variety of digital and print media, helping to bring our clients' visions to life. Your fresh perspective and enthusiasm will be invaluable as you develop your skills and establish yourself as a capable designer within our growing studio.

Key responsibilities

1. Creating visual content including branding materials, logos, marketing collateral, social media graphics, and digital assets
2. Collaborating with the design team and clients to understand project requirements and translate briefs into compelling visual designs
3. Developing design concepts and presenting multiple creative options to stakeholders
4. Refining designs based on constructive feedback and ensuring all work meets brand guidelines and quality standards
5. Working with various design software and tools to produce high-quality outputs for both print and digital platforms
6. Contributing ideas to brainstorming sessions and participating actively in team creative discussions
7. Assisting in the organisation and management of design assets and project files
8. Meeting project deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail and design excellence

What we're looking for

1. Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related design discipline
2. Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition
3. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools
4. Experience in using AI tools for generating graphic design elements.
5. A solid portfolio demonstrating your design work, conceptual thinking, and technical abilities from academic projects or personal work
6. Excellent visual communication skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to explore creative solutions
8. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
9. Enthusiasm for learning, adaptability, and openness to constructive feedback
10. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, web design, or motion graphics is desirable but not essential
11. Basic understanding of design trends and current industry practices
