Fresh Produce Processing Worker

We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our fresh produce processing team. You will be working with a range of fruit and vegetables, preparing products for packing and distribution in a busy processing environment.

This role involves using knives and other sharp processing equipment, so attention to detail, safety awareness and following workplace procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, trim, cut and prepare fresh fruit and vegetables
• Operate knives, cutting equipment and other processing machinery safely
• Sort and inspect produce for quality
• Pack and label finished products
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area
• Follow food safety, health and safety procedures at all times
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Safely handle and move produce, boxes and equipment
• Report damaged equipment, hazards or product quality issues to supervisors

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Comfortable working with fruit and vegetables
• Able to work safely with sharp equipment
• Good attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced processing environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous food processing, factory or produce experience is an advantage, but training can be provided
