fresher mechanical engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in day-to-day engineering and production activities.
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Assist in the design, development, modification, and improvement of mechanical components/equipment.
• Support production and manufacturing activities and ensure work is carried out as per specifications.
• Assist in identifying and resolving basic technical and mechanical issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance departments as required.
• Assist in inspection and measurement of components using basic measuring instruments.
• Prepare and maintain engineering reports, checklists, records, and documentation.
• Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities, where applicable.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company processes.
• Assist in preparing BOMs, material requirements, and other engineering documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process improvement activities.
• Perform any other engineering-related responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
• Understanding of Engineering Drawing and GD&T basics.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, fabrication, casting, and sheet-metal work.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Understanding of mechanical measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
• Basic knowledge of materials and their properties.
• Understanding of basic quality and inspection procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
