The Role Are you looking for a dynamic role that bridges the culinary arts with exceptional customer service? We are seeking a versatile Cook & Front of the House Associate for our beautiful Burlingame boutique. In this unique position, you will enjoy the best of both worlds: preparing light savory items and completing final touches on our gorgeous products in the kitchen, while also stepping out front to welcome guests, share your passion for French pastry, and act as our Brand Ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

• Culinary & Savory Prep: Prepare high-quality savory dishes, handle light cooking, and manage finishing touches on baked goods following our strict quality and presentation standards.
• Guest Experience & FOH Service: Greet guests with warm hospitality, take orders, answer questions about our pastry and bread collections, and guide them through a premium boutique experience.
• Coffee & Beverage Crafting: Prepare beautiful, high-quality European-style coffees, teas, and specialty beverages.
• Boutique Visuals & Merchandising: Maintain gorgeous, pristine displays of our pastries, cakes, and viennoiseries throughout the day.
• Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in both the kitchen and customer service areas, strictly adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside our pastry chefs and boutique managers to ensure a smooth, high-energy, and supportive daily operation.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen, savory cooking, restaurant, or high-end coffee shop/retail environment is highly preferred.
• Passion for Hospitality: A friendly, positive, and outgoing attitude with excellent communication skills to inspire and engage our guests.
• Multi-Tasking Excellence: Ability to transition smoothly between kitchen prep and front-of-house customer service with a sense of urgency.
• Reliability & Flexibility: Strong time management skills and the flexibility to work shifts that include weekends and holidays.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $22.50 - $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 40.0 per week
