Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they approach the checkout area, establishing a positive rapport.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and digital payments.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and suggest upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain organized merchandising at the checkout counter and ensure displays are tidy and inviting.
• Handle customer questions regarding store policies, returns, or exchanges with clear communication and professionalism.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times while maintaining accuracy in transactions.
• Support inventory management by assisting with stock organization and reporting discrepancies when needed.
• Cleaning front end and other areas in the front of the restaurant

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail merchandising standards.
• Ability to perform basic product demonstrations and upselling techniques confidently.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated time management skills to ensure smooth checkout flow during peak hours.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
