Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Front Cashier/Hostess to join our vibrant team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive guest relations.
• Manage restaurant reservation systems to schedule and confirm bookings accurately.
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservations, inquiries, and special requests.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and monitor table availability to optimize guest flow.
• Assist in processing transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization at the host/hostess station.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional phone manner.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waiting lists, and guest flow smoothly.
• Previous experience with POS systems (including Aloha POS or Micros POS) is desirable but not required.
