We're looking for a reliable Front Counter Assistant to help keep our shop running smoothly and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, friendly, dependable and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Tire shop experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional, friendly manner.
• Answer phones, responding to customer inquiries and booking appointments.
• Explain tire services, pricing and appointment details to customers.
• Co-ordinate with front counter staff and technicians to ensure jobs are moving efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate customer information and vehicle records.
• Keep the front counter, waiting area, and other customer facing areas organized and clean.
• Prepare work orders, invoices and payment transactions.
• Help with general shop duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service experience is an asset.
• Friendly and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and cash handling experience.
• Must be comfortable talking to customers on the phone and in person.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as well as a team.
• Willingness to learn about tires and automotive services.

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
