Starting base pay is $10.00/hr plus tips. Average take-home pay ranges from $14.00 to $20.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they approach the front counter, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
• Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and preparation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments with POS systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Assist with food prep tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Experience in serving or cashiering roles within the food industry or grocery store settings is highly desirable
