Front Counter Associate

Job Summary
Mediterranean Bistro is seeking a friendly and dependable Front Counter Associate to welcome guests, handle orders and payments, assist with food service, and help maintain an organized front-of-house area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide welcoming service.
• Take dine-in and takeout orders accurately.
• Operate the POS system and process payments.
• Answer menu questions and provide basic product information.
• Coordinate orders with kitchen staff.
• Package takeout and pickup orders correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area.
• Restock cups, containers, utensils, and other supplies.
• Address customer requests and service concerns professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer-service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.
• Able to learn POS and ordering procedures quickly.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
