Front Counter Associate

Job Summary

Bellina Alimentari is seeking a friendly and reliable Front Counter Associate to support customers and daily front-of-house operations. This role will assist guests with orders, maintain an organized service area, and help provide a welcoming experience in a busy Italian market and restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take customer orders and accurately process payments
• Answer questions about menu items, products, and ingredients
• Prepare and package takeaway orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area
• Communicate customer requests with kitchen and restaurant staff
• Restock retail and service items as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures
• Assist with opening and closing tasks

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic POS and cash-handling experience is helpful
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to learn menu items and Italian food products
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

About The Company

Bellina Alimentari is an Italian restaurant, market, and pasta shop located at Ponce City Market in Atlanta. The concept is inspired by cafés and alimentari shops in northern Italy and offers fresh pasta, seasonal dishes, Italian products, and cooking classes.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
