Front Counter Associate

Job Summary
Pizzeria Sapienza CLT is seeking a friendly and dependable Front Counter Associate to support customers and keep front-of-house service running efficiently. The role includes taking orders, processing payments, preparing pickup orders, and assisting guests during busy restaurant hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide attentive counter service.
• Take accurate dine-in, takeout, and phone orders.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process payments.
• Answer menu questions and assist guests with selections.
• Assemble and organize completed orders for pickup.
• Keep the counter and front-of-house areas clean and stocked.
• Communicate special requests with the kitchen team.
• Assist with additional restaurant tasks during busy periods.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, counter-service, or restaurant experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable handling payments and learning POS systems.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.

Pizzeria Sapienza CLT is an Uptown Charlotte pizzeria located at 620 N Church Street, serving New York-style pizza along with Italian-American favorites. The restaurant offers dine-in, pickup, and delivery service.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
