Front Counter Associate

Job Summary

Voltaire is hiring a Front Counter Associate to provide friendly customer service and support daily restaurant front-counter operations. This role assists with taking orders, processing payments, answering guest questions, packaging orders, maintaining a clean service area, and supporting the restaurant team during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other approved payment methods
• Answer customer questions about menu items and restaurant services
• Verify completed orders for accuracy before customer handoff
• Package takeout and pickup orders according to service standards
• Coordinate customer requests and special instructions with kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-counter area
• Restock bags, containers, napkins, utensils, condiments, and other supplies
• Assist with order pickup and customer flow during busy service periods
• Respond to routine customer concerns and communicate complex issues to supervisors
• Follow cash-handling, food safety, sanitation, security, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties
• Perform additional front-counter and customer service duties assigned by management
