Front Counter Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression
• Process garment drop-offs and pick-ups accurately using garment care machines and pressing equipment
• Handle cash transactions and process payments with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling records
• Operate pressing machines and garment finishing tools to ensure high-quality results
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning with appropriate detergents and sanitation practices
• Assist customers with inquiries about laundry services, dry cleaning, fabric care, and garment maintenance
• Support manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry loads or garments as needed
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols when operating garment care machinery and handling cleaning chemicals

Skills

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Knowledge of garment care processes including dry cleaning, laundry, pressing, and fabric maintenance
• Ability to operate pressing machines, garment finishing equipment, and laundry processing machines effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and workspace sanitation standards
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks comfortably
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean workspace and manage multiple customer requests efficiently

Pay: $25.70 - $30.95 per hour
