Front Counter Server

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
• Take accurate orders using square POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient processing
• Prepare and assemble food items according to safety standards and quality guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food prep stations. Com plate a list of side jobs per the job required.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
• Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably in quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $10.00 - $12.50 per hour
