Front Counter Server - Fast Food

Work Location: Square One Mall, Mississauga

Work Hours:

• half day or full day shift (uptil 9:30pm)
• 2 - 3 days a week (include one weekend)

Overview
Szechuan Express is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Fast Food Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets guests, takes orders, and ensures every customer enjoys a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders
• Prepare simple food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Serve food promptly, ensuring quality presentation and customer satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining area, and food preparation zones in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service

Requirements

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided

Pay: $17.95-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
