We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-oriented individual to join our team at Donut Connection located in Butler County.  If you’re looking for part-time work, enjoy working with a supportive team, and want to make a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.  By joining our team, you’ll be part of a nonprofit agency dedicated to creating employment opportunities and giving back to the community we serve.  

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time (under 30 hours/week)

• Daylight hours (schedule may vary)

• Hours range from:

• 9:00am – 2:00pm

• 5:30am – 2:00pm

• We close at 2:00pm but could be there longer doing closing work depending on how busy it is

• Ability to work on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays

• $12/hour, plus tips!!

About Us:

Nonprofit Development Corporation (NDC) is committed to creating supportive employment opportunities.  When we learned that the Donut Connection in Butler County had closed permanently, we saw a unique chance to combine our mission with a beloved local tradition.

In 2020, we purchased the former Donut Connection location in Butler, and by 2021, renovations were underway.  We revitalized the space inside and out and worked diligently to recreate the classic donuts that so many people remember and love.

As a nonprofit organization, all proceeds from our efforts are reinvested into the community.  Every purchase helps us expand our impact—supporting more individuals, creating more inclusive job opportunities, and strengthening the community we all share.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operate cash registers, greet customers, take food and drink orders, and complete transactions.
• Regularly clean workstations, brew and grind coffee, restock cups and food items, and assist bakers.
• Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to agency policies.
• Complies with all proper uniform standards and sanitation/hygiene requirements.
• Present for all assigned shifts and holds self-accountable for ensuring successful transition to additional shifts.  May need to stay late, come in early or report for shifts outside of the normal schedule.
• Demonstrates practical knowledge, problem-solving and decision-making skills; anticipates problems and develops workable solutions.
• Must be able to work on foot for long periods of time.
