Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team, working either morning or evening shifts. Must be able to work both AM or PM needs in department scheduling this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our property, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Duties

• Greet guests warmly with friendly phone etiquette and professional demeanor, establishing a positive first impression.
• Manage multiple-line phone systems efficiently, providing accurate information and resolving inquiries promptly.
• Check guests in and out using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations with attention to detail, utilizing hospitality reservation systems.
• Provide comprehensive guest services, including answering questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns swiftly and professionally, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills.
• Assist with night audit procedures when working evening shifts, reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management.
• Collaborate with hotel management to ensure compliance with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Support other front desk functions such as handling guest complaints, managing keys, and coordinating with housekeeping or maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management.
• Knowledge of hospitality reservation systems and guest services best practices.
• Excellent phone communication skills with multi-line phone system proficiency; ability to handle high call volumes professionally.
• Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols.
• Experience in resort environments or properties requiring guest relations expertise is advantageous.
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Multitasking capability with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting; previous night audit experience is beneficial.
