Front Desk Agent Overview

The Summit Suites is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

Previous hotel experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations and questions.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns in a courteous manner.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Assist with folding, sorting, and stocking clean laundry as needed to support hotel operations.
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Perform other front desk duties and light housekeeping tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer and phone skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
