Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team at the Residence Inn - Melville. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is vital in creating memorable experiences for our guests at our hotel.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries & complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
• Utilize phone systems to assist guests with reservations and information requests.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities.
• Assist in managing reservations through various platforms as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is highly desirable.
• Strong phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with guests over the phone.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in using computer systems
