Front Desk Agent – Spark by Hilton Merrillville

Spark by Hilton Merrillville is seeking an experienced, dependable, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team.

Hotel experience is required. Hilton PEP experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional guest service throughout the entire stay
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
• Manage reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest requests
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions and concerns
• Resolve guest issues professionally and escalate concerns when necessary
• Maintain an organized and professional front desk and lobby area
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments
• Follow Hilton brand standards and hotel policies
• Complete assigned front desk duties and shift responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel front desk experience required
• Hilton PEP experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Comfortable handling guest concerns and resolving problems
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

We are looking for someone who understands hotel operations, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and works well as part of a team.

Experience:

• Hotel: 1 year (Required)
• Hilton PEP: Preferred

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
