Tozer Lee Eye Center | Scottsdale and Mesa, Arizona

Tozer Lee Eye Center is looking for a friendly, organized Front Desk Agent to help patients feel welcome and keep our clinics running smoothly. This person will work closely with our providers, clinical team, and other front desk staff to give patients a positive experience from their first call through check-out.

What you’ll do

• Greet patients, complete check-in and check-out, and keep patient information accurate.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and help patients with questions about their visits.
• Review schedules and appointment details to help ensure patients are booked correctly.
• Verify insurance information, collect copays and patient balances, and explain routine paperwork and payment expectations.
• Help manage cancellations, rescheduling, and follow-up appointments.
• Communicate with the clinical team when patients arrive, schedules change, or concerns need attention.
• Protect patient privacy and follow office procedures for documentation and payments.

• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• The ability to stay calm, helpful, and accurate during a busy clinic day.
• Comfort using computers, managing phone calls, and learning new systems.
• Prior medical front desk, scheduling, or ophthalmology experience is preferred.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys being part of a team, and genuinely cares about making each patient’s visit a good one.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
