Front Desk Agent

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, dependable, friendly, and motivated Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team!

We are not just looking for someone who can stand behind the front desk — we want someone who is a problem solver, great with people, willing to take initiative, and able to remain professional when challenges arise.

As a Front Desk Agent, you are one of the first and last people our guests interact with, so a positive attitude and excellent customer service are extremely important. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with different personalities, handling guest concerns, multitasking, and finding solutions without becoming overwhelmed.

Responsibilities

Welcome every guest with a friendly and professional attitude

Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately
Process payments, deposits, and other transactions correctly
Answer phones and assist with reservations and guest questions
Verify guest identification and payment information
Issue room keys while following hotel safety and security procedures
Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs
Respond to guest concerns and work toward reasonable solutions
Maintain accurate notes and documentation throughout the shift
Stay productive during slower periods and complete assigned front desk duties
Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and presentable
Learn hotel policies, procedures, room types, rates, and amenities
Follow all hotel policies and procedures consistently
Communicate important information to management and the next shift

Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude, work ethic, and personality.
