Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston IAH Airport Beltway 8 is looking for a warm, professional, and dependable Front Desk Agent to be one of the first people our guests meet.

The right person is comfortable speaking with people, solving problems calmly, staying organized during busy times, and taking pride in delivering a genuinely welcoming experience.

What You’ll Do

Welcome guests, complete check-in and check-out, and assist with reservations, room assignments, and billing questions.

Answer phone calls, respond to guest requests, and provide helpful information about the hotel and local area.

Handle payments, deposits, cash, and credit-card transactions accurately.

Communicate room-status updates and guest needs with housekeeping, maintenance, and management.

Resolve guest concerns professionally and know when to involve a manager.

Maintain accurate records, follow hotel security procedures, and protect guest privacy.

Complete shift reports, pass-on notes, and other assigned front-desk duties.

Help create a smooth, friendly, and professional stay for every guest.

What We’re Looking For

Excellent customer-service and communication skills.

A professional, positive, and calm approach, even during busy shifts.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Basic computer skills and comfort learning hotel systems.

Previous hotel front desk, customer service, retail, or cash-handling experience is preferred, but not required.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts as needed.

Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
